Some barriers to good communication in health care

 

The clinician

 

 

 

  •       Lake of resources (Shortness of doctors, Patients Bed, Nurses ,etc)                                                                                                            
  •       Over Burden of patients (20 to 50 times more patients are admitted in hospitals daily.)                                                                                                                       
  •        Thanks lees job, Every doctors are not with same Mentalities                                      
  •       Authoritarian or dismissive attitude                                                                                
  •       Hurried approach                                                                                                            
  •       Use of jargon                                                                                                                   
  •       Inability to speak first language of patient                                                                   
  •       No experience of patient’s cultural background

  • Anxiety
  • Reluctance to discuss sensitive or seemingly trivial issues
  • Misconceptions
  • Conflicting sources of information
  • Cognitive impairment
  • Hearing/speech/visual impediment

The patients Attendant Duty:

  • Doctors are not your enemy!
  • Doctors are to help patients. Let them do their job. Help them by supporting.
  • Doctors  are over burden 24 hours, give them good words.
  • Don’t make Doctors annoyed , He is also a human being .
  • Don’t try to hunt doctors fault every time, by using your internet or Small knowledge.
  • Weather the treatment is wrong or write ,                                                                                                 it can be decided by a senior professor, not by any other else, he may be of any other professional specialist.
